We are not a traditional law firm. We don’t file lawsuits or defend lawsuits. We don’t bill by the hour. And we don’t bill our clients to talk to us. In fact, we encourage them to email or call us - with no charge. We consult with our clients to design strategies and plans that protect them and reduce their taxes – hence the name, Allison Consulting.

We are our clients' personal family and business attorneys. We don't give you the run around like a big firm. We respond to all calls and emails right away and we treat you with the respect you deserve. We are the personal family and business law firm for people who don't like law firms.

Clark Allison is a tax, business and estate planning attorney. His focus is on family protection through estate and asset protection planning and business protection through business, corporate, tax, real estate and asset protection consulting as well as exit planning for small businesses. Clark is a featured speaker at business owner events throughout California.

Clark has been practicing law in California since 1993 and started the law firm in 1996. His educational background includes a Masters degree in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, a J.D. degree from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific in Sacramento, and an LL.M. degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Clark is a charter member of Wealth Counsel LLC, the Sacramento County Bar Association and the Trusts and Estates section of the California State Bar.

Clark is married to Paula. He is a basketball and soccer coach, runner, very amateur chef, and gradually becoming a golfer. The Allisons are members of Bayside Church, Granite Bay.

Paula Allison is the Executive Director of Allison Consulting. She is responsible for client services and marketing. Paula's favorite part of her job is connecting with parents and showing them how to protect their kids. As the mom of two young daughters, she understands why moms and dads worry about what will happen to their kids if they are not around.

Paula’s business expertise is wide-ranging. She has served as Center Director of the Sylvan Learning Center in Folsom, President of the BizWorld Foundation in Redwood City, Field Recruitment Supervisor for BloodSource in Sacramento and Public Relations Coordinator for Kaplan/McLaughlin/Diaz Architects in San Francisco. Paula is founder of Mom to Mom Productions Inc. which connects moms to expert moms through educational events throughout the Sacramento region.

When Paula is not playing with her kids, running, swimming or cooking with her family, she is an adjunct professor of business at American River College. Paula received her MBA degree from the University of California, Davis and her B.A. degree in Political Science from California State University, Fresno.

Jennifer Ferraiuolo is an estate planning attorney. Her focus is on protecting families. Prior to working with Allison Consulting, she spent several years working for the California State Legislature on issues that directly impacted California families.               

When her daughters were born, she decided she wanted to work part-time in an area of the law that protected families but also gave her the flexibility to be home with her children.  She has found the perfect blend of law and family with Allison Consulting.

Jennifer received her law degree, with a Certification in Governmental Affairs, from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific in Sacramento.  She holds a B.A. in Government from California State University, Sacramento.

Jennifer is actively involved at her oldest daughter’s school.  She is married to her high-school sweetheart.  She spends most of her spare time with her immediate and extended family, including a twin sister.  She enjoys many different activities when she is not working, including playing basketball, cooking and gardening.

 Lindsay Barrett is our Operations Coordinator. She is responsible for client services and is our all around get things done person.

Lindsay received her B.A. in Organizational Communications from California State University, Sacramento.

Lindsay worked in real estate several years before joining Allison Consulting. She is recently married, and enjoys reading, gardening, and yoga.
