The idea of our little guy having to grow up without us is unbearable. So unpleasant that I avoided even thinking about a will. Then I heard Paula at a moms’ group, sharing the scary truth in a hopeful way; imparting knowledge that I didn’t want to think about but knew was of the utmost importance. It wasn’t a sales pitch, it was one parent to another sharing facts. I took my notes home and told my husband what I’d learned – how the state takes custody until a judge determines a guardian, what it costs your loved ones in legal fees, estate taxes, yuck!
Clark, Paula, and the team at Allison Consulting made the process really simple. We had to gather some paperwork and think through some really unpleasant questions, but the experience was straightforward and not very time-consuming. Clark and Paula’s practice is obviously by-parents, for-parents. We loved that we were able to supervise our toddler in the adjacent playroom while we met with Clark. We really appreciated the level of commitment and care we felt not just for establishing our estate plan, but for our family. We like their flat-fee system instead of ‘billable hours’ and the fact that we can continue to ask questions, and add children to the plan as our family grows. Clark took the time to clearly explain the process and answer all of our questions. We are completely confident in their planning and practice.

From the moment we walked into Clark Allison’s office we felt welcomed and his knowledge on Trusts and preparation of such were beyond words. We were made to feel comfortable with our experience and that no question was too “dumb” to ask.
We needed to revise our Living Trust because of changes in our personal lives and we were referred to Clark Allison. Our previous trusts have been prepared by a large law firm which from our past experiences were impersonal and questions asked by us were never explained to our satisfaction. However, when we tried numerous times for explanation regarding our Trust in “Layman’s Terms” we were made to feel like we had no right to ask even though it was our Trust and we were paying a great deal of money for that service.
A thorough explanation was offered on each and every one of our questions. There was never a feeling of being “rushed” through our appointments. It was as if we were his only customers in the whole world. The fees charged for the consultation, preparation and phone calls on our Trust were very fair and a good value for everything done on our behalf.
We would highly recommend the services of Clark Allison to anyone that needs a Trust. He is one of the most sincere, credible, honest and knowledgeable attorney’s we have ever met.
